On Saturday 8th October, 2016 Guyana’s leading Insurance Company held its 12th Annual Cycling Programme in the National Park. The successful 11 race event – organized by National Cycling Coach, Mr. Hassan Mohammed – declared Hand In Hand’s continued support towards the development of sports.
The feature 35 lap event was won by Hamza Eastman while Dwayne Gibbs copped the race for juveniles. Similarly, Stephan Gobin won the mountain bike category as Alexander Leung secured first place in the BMX boys (6-9 years old) race. Likewise, Jeremiah Harrison prevailed in the BMX boys (9-12 years old) two lap category while Taran Garbarran succeeded in the BMX boys (12-14 years old) three lap race. In addition, Veteran Andrew Spencer won the over fifty years old five lap Veterans race.
